Terrorism is a reality of the times. But they’re not just Islamic Jihadists. We’ve had home-grown white terrorists in the United States for some time. Whether they’re bombing abortion clinics or black churches, they’ve been a stain on our society. This latest incident only highlights that fact.

According to the New York Times article, Cesar Altieri Sayoc Jr. was an avid conservative active in chat rooms on Facebook and others. Facebook says they’ve removed his account, and are removing accounts that praise the bombing attempts.
Dr. Rossi says that the bomber seems to be politically knowledgeable, and likely a white nationalist based on some of the people he targeted. He went after prominent Democrats, but also other minorities that weren’t politically prominent. “I think he wants to be caught; he seems to be a political junkie with a message he wants to send.”
