Episode 30 – Florida Amendment 4

In this week’s episode (30), Power & Politics delves into the shake-up in the Presidential Election 2024 and the Florida Amendment 4.

The Trump campaign spent the past two years hammering home that age was the issue regarding Biden; he is too old and in cognitive decline. To some degree, voters agreed with them. But voters have also thought Trump was too old and in cognitive decline. So, with Biden dropping out and Harris at the top of the ticket, the election has been turned upside down. After the taping of this episode, the polls show Harris surging, taking the lead nationally and in many swing states.

Dr. Bart Rossi, PhD, discusses the expectations and signs of cognitive decline. Certainly, Trump has shown signs as he continues to meander, not be able to answer straightforward questions, and talk about the “late, great, Hanibal Leckter” sharks vs electrocution in ridiculous scenarios.

The hosts, Frank Cipola and Bart Rossi, named their choices for sunshine and showers.
