James Comey Memos and A Higher Loyalty; True, Lies and Leadership, the new book by former F.B.I. director Jams Comey, is all about timing, says Dr. Bart Rossi, PhD.

On a segment of WINK News Dr. Rossi, PhD, a career psychologist, says that the book won’t have significant impact at this point: those that support the president don’t want to hear anything Comey has to say; those that don’t like the president want to believe everything Comey has to say.The timing could play out well for Comey “if” the Mueller investigation winds up while the book is in its promotion cycle, and “if” the investigation results in wrong-doing. If not, then it will hurt Comey’s credibility and the book will likely fade into oblivion.But while Mr. Comey is doing the rounds on the talk shows promoting the book, there is heightened drama with the raid by the F.B.I. of Michael Cohen’s office and home.  Mr. Cohen essentially had three clients — he was the long time fixer for president Trump, Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy, and Fox talk show host Sean Hannity. Now speculation is whirling about what they found, and whether — if incriminating — Cohen will flip on the president.On another front, there is a lot of noise about Hannity, who was on-air repeatedly defending Michael Cohen and the president without ever disclosing he was Cohen’s client.It seems Washington is the set for the new age of reality TV.
