Florida Moves To Curb Opioid Crisis

FORT MYERS, Fla- Late last night, members of the Florida senate took steps to curb the state’s opioid epidemic by going after doctors. Political psychologist Dr. Bart Rossi, PhD joined us in studio to talk about how this will affect the way doctors prescribe drugs.

Are doctors pushing too many pills? And should they be trying to offset patient pain in other ways beyond pills. Dr. Rossi, PhD says this is where things need to go, to look further into evidence based treatments.
