The Holiday pandemic that continues to affect our mental health is the topic on WINK News with guest Dr. Bart Rossi, PhD.Mental health has — and still does — have a stigma attached to it.  However, if one needs mental health care, that doesn’t mean they’re psychotic or crazy. Psychologists have always stressed that without mental health there is no health. The federal government currently works in partnership with local government when it comes to mental heal. The pandemic, however, has been a challenge for many.COVID19 (Coronavirus) has devasted many people around the world in 2020. We discussed how it has affected anxiety during quarantine, and with back to school debates, and even the election.So, our mental health has been affected at every turn. COVID19 has wreaked havoc on our economy, which in turn is yet another stress point for many. In some cases, small business owners are struggling to stay afloat, while many workers have already drowned through lost jobs and mounting bills.The result might see people short-tempered simply out of frustration, lack of social interaction, or working and living under the same roof day in and day out. Not everyone is able to adjust to such drastic changes in their daily lives.
