There is something about voting for people who present an “the boss” image. Suppose it contradicts and is against their own best interests. The Trump team claims that they’ll get 30% of the black vote this year. Many, including Clyburn, say no, he won’t.

Why didn’t Hunter plead guilty when it appears he broke the law by filing the gun form? People may feel sorry for Hunter in that he has had a difficult time losing his mother, sister, and elder brother and then battling substance addiction. However, Dr. Rossi suggests that the case is not that consequential regarding politics.

Rossi Rant

Last week, he discussed the psychology of Trump’s court case.  In this week’s Rossi Rant, political psychologist Dr. Bart Rossi, Ph. D., delves into nationalism and patriotism. Dr. Rossi takes issue with isolationism, as we are part of a global community.

Florida’s Ballot Initiatives

There are several initiatives on the ballot his year in Florida. Marijuana and abortion are included. But the two we focused on this week are:

Matching funds amendment 6 in Florida; why make it more exclusive and less inclusive? If you exclude candidates that aren’t millionaires and billionaires, a good candidate that wants to run, perhaps can’t, leaving political positions open to only the elite, the very people that DeSantis and the GOP rail against.

Lab-grown meat. A new amendment would ban lab-grown meat, some of which might be healthier. Are there safety issues, or is this a strong meat industry lobbying effort?

Sports.  Why is Floridian sports being funded by tax-payers? Shouldn’t the teams finance their stadiums so that they can reap huge profits?

Sunshine or showers?

Miami-Dade is in the country’s top ten GDP counties, putting them in the Sunshine category. Bill Anders passed away, and the Apollo 8 Earth Rise photo.

In The Showers is Dr. Phil, who seemed intimidated by his interview with Trump. According to Frank, three candidates ran in Miami-Dade unopposed.

Being Frank

Complaining about what “Isn’t” being done on immigration while voting No and leaving the issue unresolved to spin immigration as a wedge issue for the election.  Then the GOP complained about Biden’s executive order issued in the wake of the failed congressional bill, something they said he should do for the past two years.
